VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Sunday night around 8:20 p.m., Vermilion County Police stopped a vehicle driving 47-mph in a 60-mph zone on SR63.

The driver, 33-year-old Rusty A. Sheffield of Vincennes was arrested for operating a vehicle while suspended with a prior conviction, Possession of marijuana, and possession of Paraphernalia.

After placing Sheffield under arrest, he admitted to Deputies that there were drugs and paraphernalia underneath the driver’s side seat.

Sheffield was booked in the Vermillion County Jail on a $7000 bond with 10% allowed.
