VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Vermillion County Officers were called to an accident US 136 near the Illinois State line around 9:40 Wednesday night.

Police say that 63-year-old Peter Hanson Jr of Covington, Indiana showed signs of impairment, failed field sobriety testing and a certified chemical test. He registered at .10%.

Hanson was arrested after being treated for minor injuries at the scene.
