TERRE HAUTE, Ind  – A controversial re-zoning request in Vigo county could be examined this evening.

Foster Builders has petitioned the Vigo County Area Plan Commission to rezone land on North Clinton Street in Northern Vigo County to build a new Dollar General.

The issue was tabled by the commission at their November meeting.

Some residents in the area have spoken out against the proposed store.

The meeting starts at 7 pm in the council chambers of the Vigo County Annex.
