Arson Investigation Underway After Morning Fire

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – An early morning fire is being blamed on arson.

It happened at Vigo County Community Corrections in Terre Haute, at 104 South First Street around 3:45 a.m today.

No injuries were reported.

The fire started in several 2nd floor offices.

No flames were showing when firefighters arrived.

Authorities say that a male was seen wearing a black ski mask and all black clothing and using a pry tool to open a door.

It is believed that there is surveillance video of the fires being set.

Approximately 54 offenders and 4 staff members were evacuated.
