Bethesda Gardens Responds To State After Death Of Resident

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.- Bethesda Gardens has responded to an injunction filed by the State of Indiana after the death of a resident.

. The state alleges the facility was offering certain types of care only for licensed facilities.

Bethesda Gardens said it does operate as an unlicensed assisted living facility but denies staff intentionally provided services outside the legal limits.

The facility said the death of the resident was unrelated to the complaints the state listed.

It also said it gave notice on February 25th that the memory care unit was being discontinued.
