VIGO COUNTY, Ind – The Vigo County School Corp. bond steering committee met earlier this week and interviewed four architectural firms to map a plan forward for school facilities.
That committee selected three companies to recommend to the school board who will now conduct their own interviews and make a selection.
The three are J. Lake Architecture in collaboration with Schmidt Associates, Unesco and Fanning Howey.
The firm chosen will be responsible for information gathering and sharing with the community. They will also develop a facilities plan.
As part of the process the selected firm hired will conduct a series of community meetings.
The intent is for the firm selected to have a completed facilities plan by January 1st.
