CLAY COUNTY, Ind – A Clay County man has been arrested on charges of child molestation and solicitation.

Indiana State Police started their criminal investigation in December 2018, after receiving information that a 13 year old female had been sexually abused.

Troopers say that their investigation shows that 44 year old Benjamin A. Johnson, of Brazil, allegedly had been engaging in sexual misconduct with a minor.

He is currently being held in the Clay County Jail with no bond.
