BRAZIL MAN ARRESTED FOUR TIMES THE LEGAL LIMIT 

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Wednesday evening the Indiana State Police stopped 34-year-old Orelius T. Barnett III, of Brazil, near State Road 46 and Village Drive for failure to signal.  Further investigation revealed Barnett was intoxicated and had a blood alcohol content of .33%. That’s nearly 4 times the legal limit.  A thirteen-year old boy and Barnett’s girlfriend, the boy’s mother, were also in the vehicle.  Barnett was taken to the Vigo County jail where he was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Passenger less than 18 years of age, Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC .15% or more and Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated Endangering a Person. The thirteen-year old boy was released to his mother who was not intoxicated.
