Brazil Police Arrest Illegal Alien After Intimidating Messages

BRAZIL, Ind – A Brazil Police Department investigation has led to the arrest of a man wanted on various charges.

Brazil police say that Erick Pedraza who also went by the name of Jose Figueroa and over more than ten other aliases,  sent intimidating messages to a Clay County woman who was a co-worker at a Putnam County business.

Those messages included images of human mutilation, weapons and of him firing weapons out of a moving car.

Pedraza lives in the Seelyville area and was arrested by police near his Vigo County apartment

He is now being held in the Clay County Jail.

Police did recover a 9mm hand gun from his apartment.

Pedraza is wanted on several warrants out of Daviess County.

He is an illegal alien who appears to have been living in the county for several years.

He had at least two fake drivers’ licenses.

Local police have contacted Customs and Immigration officials about this case.
