BRAZIL, Ind – A Brazil teen was killed in a Friday night accident near Staunton in western Clay County.

Police say that just after 8 p.m. 18-year-old Tyler Layne apparently lost of control of his vehicle on the rain slick CR 300 west while traveling at a high rate of speed.

The SUV flipped and came to rest on its top with Layne trapped under it.

He died at the scene.
