KNOX COUNTY, Ind. — A broken license plate light, and a lot of weed, led to the arrest of a Vincennes man.

Indiana State Police say Demencio Canchola was pulled over early Tuesday morning because his license plate light on his car was out.

When the officer approached the car, he could smell marijuana. It turned out to be a lot.

Almost a pound of weed, plus 10 morphine pills, and over $3,600 in cash. Canchola was arrested for two misdemeanors and two felonies, and is currently in the Knox County Jail.
