CLAY COUNTY, Ind – This past Saturday (2/9/19) just after midnight a Deputy with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office saw an SUV traveling left of center.

The deputy stopped the vehicle east of Harmony Rd on CR 1300 N.

During the stop a K9 officer gave a positive indication and the vehicle was searched.

Officers found $5,650 in cash which officers were told were the proceeds from meth sales.

Officers alter uncovered a container in the engine compartment containing three syringes, multiple spoons with residue on them and approximately 86.8 grams of methamphetamine.

The driver, 38 year old Joshua Wheeler of Carbon, was arrested on multiple drug related charges.
