Change Of Plea Hearing Set For Man Accused In Fatal Parke County Crash

ROCKVILLE, Ind – A plea deal may be in the works for a man accused in a crash that claimed the life of a retired Parke County Sheriff and his wife.

42-year-old Bryan Robertson faces felony charges in connection to an accident in December 2017 just south of Rockville.

The crash claimed the life of 74-year-old Michael Eslinger, 73-year-old Darla Eslinger. 

The couples teenage grand-daughter was driving the vehicle they were riding in and survived.

On-line court records indicate that a change of plea hearing and sentencing is set for April 11th for 42-year-old Bryan Robertson.

Police said Robertson had a blood-alcohol content of 0.117%.

A passenger in Robertson’s truck was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
