TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – At Thursday night’s Terre Haute City Council meeting, animal rules were an issue of concern.
Last month a committee agreed to changes regarding bee keeping.
The ordinance was withdrawn so that changes could be made.
The measure will come back for discussion and possibly a vote at the May 2nd meeting.
Possible changes to rules regarding chickens in the city will be sent to committee for further study and discussion.
The council did approve a unified flood plan control ordinance which will limit some construction in certain areas and make sure residents can keep their flood insurance.
