Cloverdale Man Leads Police On 95mph Chase

CLOVERDALE, Ind – Monday evening (2/4/19) around 5:30 p.m., Indiana State Police spotted a car fail to stop at Fulton Street on US 231 in Cloverdale. The male driver refused to stop and led police on a chase.

The driver ran several stop signs and speeds reached 95 mph.

After going through Putnam and Morgan counties, the driver eventually stopped in Owen County when the driver lost control and ran off of the road.

46 year old Scott Cole of Cloverdale got out of the vehicle and surrendered to police.

He refused to take any chemical tests and was then taken to the Putnam County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, reckless driving and resisting law enforcement.
