TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – A company that has been in Terre Haute for more than 100 years is nearing the end.

Columbian Home Product has been in Terre Haute since 1902, but in December, they officially stopped production at their plant here.

The company filed a notice of closure with the state in September last year.

At that time the company announced that they were looking for a buyer but none could be found.

The plant is still operating and continues to ship what had already been sold and produced.

An exact closing state has not been set but is expected for sometime in March.

At last report that company employed 82 local workers.
