VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – Vigo County government computer systems were attacked by malware Tuesday morning.

Vigo County Commissioner Brendan Kearns said that the attack came in the form of an email sent to an account in the Vigo County Courts.

This adversely impacted operations, leaving some information not accessible.

All county departments remained open but some services were not available.

Official County email was also not available.

The county’s IT team is working to restore all computers and systems.

It could possible take days for the issues to get sorted out.
