VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – Tuesday night the Vigo County Democratic Party voted to elect a replacement for a soon to be vacated county council seat.

Lisa Spence was selected to serve as the next council member taking over for Brendan Kearns who will step down at the end of the year.

He was elected to serve as a Vigo County Commissioner in November.
