TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – It’s not cheap or easy to clean up an old industrial site.

The Terre Haute Development Commission met Wednesday evening to discuss bids to continue the cleanup of the former Coke and Carbon Plant site at 13th and Hulman Streets.

Members felt the bids were too high, so they tabled the item for now and will adjust plans and seek new bids.
