DNR Encourages Hoosiers To Play Safe This Summer

INDIANA – Summer is here and that means many Hoosiers will be heading for the water.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resource officers are reminding you that they will be out in force to help keep you safe by making sure that all laws concerning boating, life jackets and more are enforced.

The DNR says that 114 Hoosiers drowned in 2017.

They have released the 2017 Drowning Prevention report.
