INDIANA – Do you or a family member take statin medication to reduce “bad” cholesterol?
You may need a more aggressive treatment, according to a study by the I-U School of Medicine, the Regenstrief Institute in Indy and others.
The researchers found that a third of the patients in Indiana were not reaching a safe level.
That could indicate a risk of heart attack, chest pain or stroke.
