Washington, D.C. — On Monday, U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly voted and helped to confirm Robert Wilkie, President Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Donnelly said, “I believe Robert Wilkie has the necessary experience to lead the VA and has demonstrated a commitment to our veterans. Our veterans have served our country and put their lives on the line to defend our freedoms, and they deserve a VA that will ensure they receive the benefits they have earned in a timely fashion, as well as the quality care they deserve.”
