SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind – Friday morning around 7:30 am, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the intersection of Main Street and 1st Ave. in Farmersburg after a car struck a building.

Police say that the driver was identified as 18 year old Eric Gettinger of Shelburn, IN.

Officers say that after a field sobriety test a chemical test was administered, and showed that Gettinger was under the influence of THC.

Gettinger is charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

The hair salon housed in the building remains open.
