Drug Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Terre Haute Couple

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute couple were arrested Friday for allegedly dealing large amounts of meth.

Marc McLawyer faces federal charges of possession with intent to distribute meth.

Police believe Ashley Harris was McLawyer’s girlfriend and helped in his operation and faces several drug charges as well as, neglect of a dependent, and possession of a stolen firearm.

Police say that McLawyer faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted.

They believe that he received his supply of meth from Mississippi.
