WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A fire in West Terre Haute Monday afternoon has left a family with five children homeless.

No one was home when the fire started around 3 p.m. on West Cooper Avenue.

Officials say the husband came home to find the house on fire.

The home is considered a total loss.
