Fire Fighter Accused Of Child Molesting Granted Continuance At Hearing

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute Fire Fighter facing child molestation charges was appear before the department merit board Thursday but that didn’t’ happen.

Rodger Plunkett II asked for and was granted a continuance on Thursday.

He has just recently bonded out of jail and said he needed time to prepare.

Terre Haute Fire Chief Jeff Fisher suspended Plunkett shortly after he was arrested in early September and has said he wants him fired.

Plunkett is accused of molesting the two girls between 1998 and 2005.

The next meeting of the merit board is set for next week on October 30th in City Hall.
