FIREFIGHTER ACCUSED OF CHILD MOLESTATION MAY SOON LEARN HIS FATE ON THE DEPT.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Terre Haute firefighter Rodger Plunkett, II will soon learn his future with the Department.  Plunkett faces five charges of child molesting, based on allegations from two victims which allegedly happened between 1998 to 2005. The Terre Haute Fire Merit Commission will meet in executive session this afternoon.  Plunkett will be the topic.  According to Fire Chief Jeff Fischer the departmental investigation into any possible violations of rules or regulations is now complete. Fisher says he’s confident in moving forward in recommending Plunkett be terminated.  Plunkett has been suspended with pay since his arrest on September 4.  Plunkett remains in Jail on $100,000 bond.
