TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – Formal charges have been file against a Terre Haute Firefighter.

46-year-old Rodger Plunkett II was arrested last Wednesday.

Yesterday (Monday 9/9/19) he was formally charged with five counts of child molestation for allegedly molesting two girls between 1998 and 2005.

Jail records show that he is scheduled to appear in court today.

A person close to Plunkett told police he had been sending her animated digital images and child pornography for months.

She also told police she found child pornography on old hard drives he left in the house.

The woman also claims that Plunkett tried to talk her into including children in their intimate relations.
