Former County Commissioner Faces More Charges

VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – A former Vigo County Commissioner that was already on house arrest is now facing more charges.

On Wednesday, Terre Haute Police arrested 62 year old David Decker for allegedly picking up and taking a cell phone that was left by a woman on a counter at a local bank.

He has been on house arrest since June 5th for a number of charges, including domestic battery, invasion of privacy, strangulation, and possession of meth.

On Thursday, his bond was revoked and he is now being held in the Vigo County Jail on a $10,000 cash only bond.

He was also ordered to have a mental health evaluation.
