Former ISU Student To Be Sentenced Next Month For Fatal Shooting

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A former Indiana State University student will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter.

22 year old Tristan Spencer shot and killed Robert James Archer at the International Village Apartments last November.

He is set to be sentenced on August 15th.

The Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office has reportedly said Archer’s family supports the plea agreement in the case.
