Four Treated For Minor Injuries In Saturday Parke County Accident

PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Saturday morning (6/1/19) just after midnight Parke County Deputies were called to a single vehicle crash on State Road 236 at the Guion Road intersection.

Officers say that 24-year-old Kyla Spangler of Brazil was west bound on SR 236 and failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road, into a ditch and struck an AT&T phone pedestal.

Spangler was not injured in the crash but four passengers in the vehicle were transported to Union Hospital in Terre Haute for non-life-threatening injuries.

There were four people injured, three were minor children, a one-year old male, a three-year old female and a 2-year-old female.

The fourth injured person was 22-year-old Courtney Branson of Brazil.

No citations were issued, and child restraint seats and seat-belts were utilized by the occupants.
