VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – The Vigo County Parks Department has been working all week to make sure that the Fowler Park Beach is ready for Memorial Day Weekend.

Big changes have been made to the park’s beach including new sand, new signs, new decorative plants, and improved bathroom facilities.

Park officials want visitors to enjoy the improvements to the beach but remember to follow the rules.

Beach hours are 12 PM to 6 PM every day.

No lifeguards are on duty, so it is “swim at your own risk”.
