VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – A southern Vigo County home has been destroyed by a Friday morning fire.

The fire started around 11:00 a.m. at 5251 E. Deer Drive in the Paint Mill Lake area.

Nobody was home at the time and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The house was reportedly for sale.
