INDIANAPOLIS — A Texas company is recalling more than 246,000 pounds of frozen breakfast wraps sold nationwide over fears the bacon may be contaminated with small rocks.

The El Monterey-brand “Egg, Potato, Bacon & Cheese Sauce” breakfast wraps were sold in “family size” packs of eight.

The wraps were made in January by Ruiz Foods Products and have “best if used by” dates of Jan. 17, 2020 and Jan 18, 2020.

The USDA became aware of the issue when someone found small rocks in their breakfast wrap and contacted the manufacturer.

If you have the breakfast wraps in your freezer, you should throw them away or return them to the store of purchase.
