Just before noon, repairs made, all clear for students to return.

Riley, Ind – Riley Elementary School has been evacuated due to a gas leak.

Vigo County School Superintendent Rob Haworth stated that the leak was detected around 10:30 a.m. this morning.

Local fire crews and officials from Vectren are on scene to determine the cause of the leak and make repairs.

Haworth said that they hope to have students back in class to finish the day after the building has been determined to be safe.

No injuries have been reported.
