TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Former Terre Haute mayoral candidate Pat Goodwin announced Tuesday he intends to run for the District 2 Seat on the Vigo County Board of Commissioners.
In a Facebook post Goodwin said he would run as an independent candidate as he did when he ran for Mayor.
Because of that he won’t have to run in the primary so he won’t officially file to run until later this spring.
David Crockett and Brian DeHart have filed to run in the Democratic primary District 2. No Republicans have yet filed for that race.
The seat is currently held by Democrat Judy Anderson who is not running for re-election.
