HENDRICKSVILLE, Ind – Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies received a 911 made by a neighbor Tuesday morning just after 8:30 about screaming and shots fired at 7048 N. State Road 43.

After deputies arrived they found three people dead.

73-year-old Peggy J. Burks, of Solsberry, was the resident of the property, 58-year-old Debra K. Floyd, also of Solsberry was reported to be her caregiver.

Also found dead was 71-year-old Lawrence T. Burks also of Solsberry.

Police say that their investigation is continuing, and a motive has not yet been established. Detectives discovered there was a Protective Order in place against Lawrence for Peggy and other court proceedings were underway.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department has not yet released any information regarding the weapon used or the exact cause of death of any of the individuals.
