TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute man appeared in court Wednesday on charges of child molesting and attempted child molesting.

24-year-old James Freeman inappropriately touched a six-year-old girl earlier this month when the two were watching a movie.

Freeman allegedly told investigators that everyone already thinks he is a child molester, so he wanted to prove them right and admitted to molesting the young girl.

He is being held on a $75,000 bond.
