GREENCASTLE, Ind – Police in Greencastle are continuing their investigation into a suspicious death.

Officers were called to 107 East Berry Street around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

Police are treating the death of 44 year old Melissa Attkisson of Greencastle as a homicide.

An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon but details have not been released.

Indiana State Police and the Putnam County Sheriff’s office are helping in the investigation.
