Indiana Health Commissioner Makes It Easier To Get Measles Vaccination

INDIANA  – A statewide standing order, making it easier for adults to get vaccinated against measles, has been issued by State Health Commissioner Kris Box.

Just one patient in Indiana this season–but more than 700 have been infected in more than 20 states.

The commissioner’s order means you don’t have to get a prescription from a health care provider.

Just tell a pharmacy you’re asking for the shot under that order. The costs can be billed to insurance.
