BLOOMINGDALE, Ind.  – On Monday, fire investigators and insurance companies were in Parke County at the Futurex Industries plant to investigate a large fire that occurred this past Saturday.

15 fire departments responded to the fire that took several hours to put out at the facility in Bloomingdale.

Investigators are looking at machinery and duct work as a possible location where the fire may have started but have still not come to any conclusions.

Company officials have been quoted as saying that no jobs have been lost due to the fire and the company was able to absorb employees to other positions to keep production up.
