TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Terre Haute Fire Department units were called to a vacant house on 8th Avenue near 12th street Monday evening.
Flames and smoke were showing when crews arrived.
Investigator Norm Loudermilk said that the fire was intentionally set.
Neighbors told officials that three individuals were seen leaving the house just prior to the fire and that one of individuals had thrown some kind of flammable device against the outside of the house causing the fire.
