WABASH VALLEY, Ind – During New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, more than 900 crashes occurred throughout Indiana resulting in 174 injuries and four fatalities.  Indiana State Police increased their patrols and targeted dangerous and impaired drivers. Troopers at the local Putnamville District arrested three impaired drivers overnight and two subjects wanted on warrants.

The following were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated:

Vigo County:

• April L. Neal, 40, Terre Haute, IN (BAC .11%)

1. Driving While Intoxicated , Class A Misdemeanor

• Roberto M. Garcia, 34, Evansville, IN (BAC.16%)

1. Driving While Intoxicated, Class A Misdemeanor

Sullivan:

• Timothy J Scott, 56, Hymera, IN (controlled substance)

1. Driving While Intoxicated with a Prior DUI Conviction, Level 6 Felony
