ISU Hires Alum As New Lobbyist

TERRE HAUTE , Ind – Indiana State University has announced the hiring of APPIAN Advisors to represent the University’s priorities during the 2019 legislative session of the Indiana General Assembly.

APPIAN Advisors is led by Indiana State University alumnus Dennis Faulkenberg, formerly Deputy Commissioner and Chief Financial Officer of the Indiana Department of Transportation. Faulkenberg and his colleague, Laurie Maudlin, have successfully led efforts at the State House for increased funding for high priority transportation and infrastructure projects throughout the state of Indiana.

Greg Goode, Indiana State’s Executive Director of Government Relations, announced last month that he was leaving the university to become president and chief executive officer of the Historic Trust, a nonprofit organization based in Vancouver, Wash.
