Jury Finds Man Guilty Of Impersonating An Officer

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A jury convicted a Terre Haute man of impersonating a police officer.

The verdict came down around 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Police say that in February last year 58 year old Steve Ferree walked into the Hamilton Center wearing a coat with the sheriff’s office emblem and asked to speak with an employee about and inmate.

Ferree will be sentenced later this month.
