LINTON, Ind – In a Facebook post today the Linton Supervalue store announced that it will be closing.
The statement said:
“Unfortunately, we are writing to announce that our still will be closing. A 25% off liquidation sale (excluding alcohol, tobacco & special orders) will begin effective immediately. The decision to close our store was very difficult for us to make and was not made lightly. Our decision was solely based on the difficult, competitive environment, and in no way reflects the efforts of the great employees working at this store. We want to thank all of our customers and employees for their loyalty over the years, and we hope to continue to see them at our two other Baesler’s Market locations.”
A store employee told us over the phone that their last day in business will be October 1st.
