VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – A new owner for a portion of the former Pfizer property.

Tuesday night, Vigo County redevelopment gave the final approval for AIS gauging to purchase a portion of the property for $1.

John Young is the president of AIS Gauging and is a Terre Haute native.

AIS Gauging, (www.aisgauging.com)  company is a manufacturer and service supplier of web measurement technologies, providing in-line advanced measurement and control for thickness, coat weight, basis weight and moisture, across a wide range of products. The company began operation in 1998 and has completed hundreds of successful installations around the world, with remote offices in India and Singapore.

Young hopes to hire many workers locally and wants to begin renovations to the old Pfizer facility this coming summer.
