Local Fast Food Worker Arrested After Meltdown

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A local fast food worker has been arrested for destroying the register at the Wendy’s on Wabash.

Police say that they were called after 31-year-old Joshua Landers became angry because he had to work “sandwich prep” instead of another task.

Landers allegedly talked to the general manager over the phone and threatened to start killing people if the manger didn’t come to the restaurant.

He allegedly held other employees hostage until police arrived.

Landers is being held in the Vigo County Jail on $30,000 bond and is facing multiple charges.

His next court appearance is set for the 26th.
