PARIS, Ill. – In the Illinois Consolidated Election yesterday, the mayor of Paris, was elected to another term.
Incumbent Craig Smith defeated challenger Daniel Briseno with 68% of the vote.
This will be Smith’s fifth term.
In other races:
Drew Griffin, Harry Hughs, Jerry Branson and Steve Kemper were winners in the Paris City Commissioners race.
Marcy Mumford was the winner in the Casey Ward 1 Alderman’s race while Butch Ruffner was the winner in Ward 3.
In Martinsville, Melinda Lovell wins in the Ward 1 Alderman’s race. Cristopher Perry was the winner in Ward 3.
John Richards, Jeff Trefz, Jana Williamson and Randy Blankenship were the winners in the Clark County Park Commissioner race.
