Local Schools Compete In Autonomous Vehicle Challenge

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – Schools from Indiana, Tennesse, Illinois, and Texas competed at Rose-Hulman in the Autonomous Vehicle Challenge on Friday.

The competition is a race of self-driving cars that the students built and designed.

Terre Haute South Vigo High School placed third.

Organizers hope competitions just like this one trigger more interest in STEM careers.
